I am a Raleigh, North Carolina native - born and raised - now living just up the road in Carrboro, NC.

My Mission

I am committed to providing ethical, compassionate, and evidence-based clinical mental health care that empowers clients to navigate life’s challenges with clarity and resilience. With a foundation in both counseling and law, I bring a multidisciplinary perspective to therapy that honors each client’s individuality, complexity, and autonomy. My work is grounded in respect for lived experience and social context, shaped by years of diverse professional paths and personal growth. I aim to create a safe, collaborative space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported in moving toward meaningful change.

I feel enriched when I can truly prize or care for or love another person and when I can let that feeling flow out to that person.
— Carl Rogers

My career goals…

Upon graduation, my immediate goal is to secure a position as a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate (LCMHC-A) working with adults in a residential or partial hospitalization (PHP) setting specializing in eating disorder treatment. Over the next year, I aim to deepen my clinical experience with this population by continuing to build competency in evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), while receiving regular supervision and engaging in professional development opportunities specific to eating disorder care.

Within the next three years, I plan to obtain full licensure and pursue certification as a Certified Eating Disorders Specialist (CEDS) through iaedp, with the goal of eventually contributing to program development, clinical supervision, or advocacy efforts within a treatment center or community-based organization. I intend to pursue these goals through consistent clinical practice, participation in relevant trainings and conferences, and ongoing consultation with experienced mentors in the field.
